Welcome To Day 5!

Hey friends,

Today we will learn about drawing attention back to your profile from people that don't currently know about you or your brand.

Today we are focusing on Drawing Attention!

 QUICK FACT
When you engage with other's post, it draws their attention back to you. They may visit your page to learn more about who you are and what you do. They may even reciprocate the engagement by liking or commenting on your posts as well.

Action Step

Immediately after you post on your account, I want you to look at the hashtags below your post and select two of them (It could be hashtags your target audiences uses or ones used by others in your industry). Click on one and it will take you to the hashtag list for that hashtag.

Then make sure you click on “Recent” so that you are shown posts that recently just got posted.

After that, start going down the list and like the first 20 recent posts.
After you’ve done that, go back to your post and click on another hashtag that you used and do the exact same thing. Go to recent posts  and like the first 20 recent posts. Click here to see a video of how to do this step.

That’s it. Don’t do anymore than that.

Doing this process immediately after you post should produce some great results. The reason for liking the recent posts is that we want to get the attention of Instagrammers that are currently online. If they recently just posted, that’s a very good chance they may be online.

If they are online, that means they may come back and check out your profile after you’ve given their post a like. This leads to high engagement on your posts and even some new followers if they like what they see on your profile.

Quick Recap

Here’s a quick recap of what you should be doing for the fifth day of this challenge.

Start engaging with others that use similar hashtags to you right after you post. Depending on your objective and who you want back on your profile, you can target the hashtags that your target audiences uses or target the hashtags used by your peers.
